EMPLOYERS: HELP YOUR WORKERS GET THEIR TAX CREDITS

Some of your employees may be eligible to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit. You can increase your employees' earnings without any cost to you! Educating your employees about the EITC enables you to:

• Build trust with employees by making them aware of the valuable tax credit.
• Give your employees the ability to supplement their incomes in tough economic times.
• Take ownership of an EITC program within your own business, using it in a  way that's good for your employees and your company.

Here's how you can help your employees benefit from the EITC:

• Distribute a flyer (English) or (Spanish) about the EITC in employee handouts.
• Talk about the EITC in staff meetings
• Post educational materials in the workplace, and make yourself available for employee questions.
